6 month online meditation course

You have probably read all about how meditation is so good for you, how it can help you feel calmer, reduce stress, increase concentration, even aid digestion and improve your sleep (and soooo much more), right? 
You probably agree you'd like nothing more than to reap even just a couple of those benefits, right?

It can be intimidating to start, but it's really much easier than you are imagining. PLUS this course is run by ME, your friendly 'human' yoga teacher Sarah and I completely understand all those blocks that have been putting you off ...

The History of Meditation
Learn about the roots of this ancient, spiritual practice. When and where did it all begin? What does it have to do with my practice today?

How does it work?
In two lectures we will take a look at meditation from two viewpoints. We will study the science behind meditation and it's benefits, and also how the wise, old yogis have been explaining it for many thousands of years. There are some remarkable similarities.

Take a Seat
We will spend some time looking at why it's important to have an upright spine, and how you can truly get comfy as you meditate. There are lots of options and, don't panic, we will consider back, knee and all other issues for you.

Pranayama
We will look at 4 pranayama techniques and practice them. These will help calm and centre you and are a great way to set the scene for a really 'good' meditation. 

There will be a tutorial on each, and a practice and journalling for 7 days. It's likely that you will find a favourite.

Meditation Techniques
We then move into looking at the specifics of 8 different meditation techniques and practice and journal each one for 14 days. These will build up from very basic meditations to more complex ones, but we take it in baby-steps and you are welcome to keep repeating steps as well.

This course is designed to take 6 months, and you will have access to a close FaceBook group with me offering support every step of the way, along with your peers.

Ask me questions, chat to your peers, compare and contrast progress and feel the support of the group.

What can I say? I just love yoga, and I love sharing my passion even more! The Anusara® yoga style in particular is especially inspirational to me, and since discovering this amazing method I have been addicted! I have been running Teacher Trainings since 2016 and teaching yoga even longer. I am passionately dedicated to spread the Anusara® method and its life affirming messages.

I am a wife, a mum to three (gorgeous!) grown men, a daughter, a sister, a friend ... just a normal gal like you. This method has helped me deal with the highs and lows that life brings us all with both grit and grace, and I hope my teaching helps others to do the same. After all that's what Anusara means "Flow with Grace" and engaging with our beautiful (sometimes crazy!) lives with even more enthusiasm and love!


I aim to let enthusiasm for yoga shine through in laughter filled classes and trainings.
